Solar Power project Caña Blanca- Pánama

The Rainforest Foundation partnered with a Wisconsin-based energy efficiency company, Thermal Design, to install renewable energy in the Wounaan Village of Caña Blanca, located in the remote Darien region of Panama. I was invited to document the challenging project that had to be fulfilled in 3 days.

The renewable, solar energy project provides the 20+ families in this village with filtered water, a refrigerator, lighting, and outlets.

It was a tremendous amount of work—but the team atmosphere among Rainforest Foundation, Thermal Design and the hardworking community made it all possible! -
