Mozambique: The advent of Primary Health Care

The advent of Primary Health Care is a photographic essay highlighting  the important attempt given in Mozambique to introduce Primary Health care to its citizens as a way to reduce infant and prenatal mortality. These systems focused on preventive and promote care rather then treatment is supported mostly by nongovernmental organizations and the programs are internationally financed. Due to the current world recession and other political and social motives many of these programs have been cut back, creating a bigger problem limiting their resources, including financial and human capital at their disposal.
